Ulubey Blaundos Ancient City - Usak
Influenced by the Phrygian and Lydian cultures, the ancient city was founded on a peninsula surrounded by deep valleys by those who came from Macedonia after Alexander the Great's campaign to Anatolia. It was an important border city during the Roman period. The most important structures of the castle, temples, theaters, stadiums and rock tombs. Excavations are continuing in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, General Directorate of Cultural Heritage and Museums, Uşak Museum and Uşak University Archeology Department.
