THIN MINERAL MEDRESE

Thin Minaret Museum, Seljuk Sultan II. It was built in 1264 with the aim of teaching hadith science by Sahip Ata Fahreddin Ali, who was a vizier during Izzeddin Keykavus period. It is located in the group of madrasahs which has an indoor courtyard used in the Seljuk period.

Today, the mausoleum remained in the northern part of the madrasa and backwards from the masjid. The base part of the minaret, which gives its name to the madrasa, is covered with regular cut stones. The body part is completely made of bricks. The minaret was built with white brittle bricks and painted in turquoise color. The original minaret, with its two balconies, has been destroyed by one of two honors due to the falling lightning in 1901.
