NEW CASTLE

New Fort Adiyaman The village of Kocahisar in the town of Kahta. The first form of the fortress dating back to the Hittites, the present form of the castle was from the Mamluk period and was used in the Ottoman period. It is known that the fortress was in the hands of Urartu, Part, Commagene, Roman, Sassanid and Arabs.
