Since the inscription of this castle, which is located on a hill in the southwest of Nevsehir Province, has not survived, the construction date is not known. However, it is thought that it was built during the Byzantine period. It was restored during the Seljuk and Ottoman period by Damat Ibrahim Pasha. Finally, it was renovated in 1966-1979.
