Muallak Mosque (Hasan Bey Mosque) KİLİS

Mualla mosque is the only two-storey mosque in the church. On the lower floor of the two-storey mosque, there are shops and items, places to hide goods (cellar, storage), and places to worship on the upper floor. In the worship section, we enter the entrance from the high terrace above. Since the cradle of the mosque rises above its arches, it is called as ‘Mualla’ by the local people, which stands idle in the air, and stands without relying on a place. In the small garden to the east of the building, there are wells, cells, wudesary taps and hela. The main Harim is on the second floor and there are two gates to the Northeast and the other to the West. The door to the Northeast is plain and plain, and the door to the West is under the pedestal of the minaret and resembles the portal with its high and pointed arch. The mosque, which is not the last Community Place, is entered through an arched gate. On both sides of the door, there are two flat-arched windows in rectangular shape. It is the only one with the Harami extending parallel to the kibble. The square-shaped area in front of the altar is covered with a small dome; pandantifs were used in the passage to the dome. The weight of the dome was distributed to the feet to bury it through pointed arches on four sides.  The dome-covered niche is covered by a cross and a barrel vault. The niche, which is a niche with pointed arches, is surrounded by a thin Frieze, but it looks quite simple and beautiful. The consoles for the Kandil hanger on either side are blocking. There is a vase-shaped relief above the altar and an öküzgözü window above it. The minbar, which is on the left side of the altar, was later constructed. The base of the minaret is square-shaped and the corners are expensive and the pabucu octagonal. The twelfth body has one bracelet, one honor. Six cheers is curved, and the coned made of stone. The remarkable decoration of the mosque is the high and pointed arched portal on the western side. The pointed pediment of the door is surrounded by superficial teeth. The colored stones used in the sows and arches of the doors opened to the harime are the basic decorative elements that affect the appearance of the mosque and also make it look beautiful and pleasant.
