It is one of the madrasas in the center of Mardin. Savur Kapi Madrasa. It is located in a narrow street near the Bab es Sur Mosque and is very easy to access.
There is no clear information about the construction date of Savur Kapi Madrasa; In the period of Artukid, XIII.-XIV. it is thought to have been built between centuries. Although Savur Kapi Madrasa has been recently ruined; it remains among the structures worth seeing. You can get to know the city of Mardin, including Savur Gate Madrasa.
