The Konya Basin, which has 1/3 of the groundwater of our country, has more than 20 obruks. The most famous of these is the 300 m long and 145 m depth. The town of Obruk, which is located in the central Karatay district, takes its name from it. Another feature of the Obruks is the dark, dark blue and green color in the first months of summer. Mound, Çıralı, Gökhöyük Obruk, Kuru obruk, Kangallı obruğ, bathhouse pavilion are other ponds of the Obruk Plateau. Another area where the Obruks are widespread is the Çimiköy plateau in the eastern part of Antalya. 22 pounds were determined here. The Mucur Obru, Heaven and Hell are the other ones that are known. These structures, whose depth and width vary from one meter to hundreds of meters, are usually filled with water. Due to the depth and clarity of the water inside, 7-8 of them are suitable for underwater diving.
