KARAHAYIT COUPLINGS

These Karahayit hot springs, which are considered as a branch of Pamukkale thermal hot springs system, are located in Karahayıt town, 5 kilometers north of Pamukkale. The composition of the water is similar to the Pamukkale source. However, the temperature is higher and free carbon dioxide is less. The waters of the spa, with high radioactivity, emerge from three sources. Water temperatures of the sources are 500 C, 425 C, and 560 C. The height of the spa area is 950 m above sea level. The characteristics of hot spring water are hyperthermal, hypotonic mineral water. There are bicarbonate, sulphate, carbon dioxide, calcium. Especially the locals of Denizli know very well, and the hot springs they go to often are quite healing. Both the ease of transportation and the accommodation options from 5-star hotels to home-like lodgings and apartments make these hot springs very attractive. Karahayıt's original red color healing thermal water and thermal sludge, which is 60 degrees from its main source in all seasons of the year, is a unique health source with its rich minerals in accordance with the report provided by the Ege University hydroclimatology institute. Red water and thermal mud can be found in the tourist facilities located in Karahayıt.
