İSTANBUL GÜLHANE PARK

Gülhane Park took its name from the fact that it was the location of the factories, which used to make roseheads here. Gülhane Park, which was used as the outer garden of Topkapı Palace during the Ottoman Empire period, covers a very large area. An area of approximately 100,000 m2 is still preserved today. Because of its historical importance, it has been determined that there is a cistern within it. This cistern is located on the road to Sarayburnuna in the Gülhane Park in the north-west of the Istanbul Archeology Museum.

Sultan Abdulmecit Gulhane, who was known as the Hatt-i-Sharif in the park where many events took place in the historical process, made him read the Reform Corps here. In addition, the statue of the important people in the park is located, one of them was placed in the statue of Atatürk Atatürk Palace.
