The history of İsmail Bey Complex is quite old. The complex in Ismail Bey neighborhood is located on the Şahinşah Rock which has two rock tombs dating from the 7th century BC. Ismail Bey Complex consists of mosques, inns and tombs. It was built in 1443-1461. It is one of the most visited places in Kastamonu. It is the place where tourists are concentrated.
