İNCESU CANYON
Çorum is located in İncesu Village of Ortaköy District. The Incesu Canyon, with its local name Uzungeçit, is 12 km long. On the rocks rising on both sides of the canyon where the ancient name Scylax, Çekerek River passes, there are wall remains dating back to the Hellenistic Period (2nd century BC), stair cascade water cisterns and wooden timber cavities called caves by the people. This situation indicates the existence of many buildings built with trees in ancient times. The width ranges from 40 to 60 meters. Both sides of the canyon are steep and rocky. The canyon is suitable for rafting and trekking. A natural wonder, the canyon is worth a visit.


1 km from the canyon. on the inside of the rock block, there is the Kybele relief at a height of 1.5 meters. Opposite the castle on high rocks, the goddess who is sitting on a throne holds a lion cub in her left hand. The Kybele relief in the Incesu canyon is the largest of the Kybele reliefs dating to the Hellenistic Age in Anatolia. Incesu canyon is home to many animal and plant communities as well as natural and natural beauties. Plant and animal species are available in the region. Canyon ecosystem is associated with the water structure of the river. The rare species of Anatolia, which are under threat of extinction, are still living in the canyon. The 1.5 km steel construction pedestrian trail and Kybele Relief are suitable for all seasons.

       The route of trekking can be started in Yozgat Province inden Aydıncık District-Kazankaya Town and finished in Çorum-Ortaköy-İncesu Village. It is thought that the course is suitable for rafting in periods when the flow rate of the water is high. At other times, it is possible to observe a natural wonder by using it as a canyon walking track.
