Hamzabey Mosque - Bursa
It was built by Hazma bey, who was the martyr in Romania, where he served as the chief vizier of Çelebi Sultan Mehmet and went as the ambassador of Fatih Sultan Mehmet. It was built as a masjid during the reign of Fatih, and in 1614 it was converted into a mosque after the pulpit was built by Muammar Zade Ahmet Efendi. It was repaired due to earthquakes that occurred in 1826 and 1854 and it is the largest and the most important complex of the works made in Bursa during the era of Fatih. Madrasah and imaret are not available today. The walls of the mosque were built of three rows of bricks and one row of stones; single bricks were placed between the stones. The large dome pulley is made of bricks and the pulleys of the wing domes; The walls were built by placing two, three vertical bricks between them. The window arches in the south wall are made of brick material in the form of a sawtooth. The walls are three and the domes have two rows of hedgehogs. The minaret, whose base is braided with three rows of bricks and a row of cut stones, is accessed through a door to the east of the last congregation. The minaret provided by the transition to the cylindrical brick body with triangular surfaces was added to the mosque and repaired from the base to the balcony.
