Temple of Yazilikaya

The largest and most impressive sacred site of Hattusha is the Yazilikaya Open Air Temple hidden outside the city, hidden among high rocks. In the temple, more than 90 gods, goddesses, animals and imaginary creatures were carved into the rock surface.
