BİLECİK SÖĞÜT ERTUĞRUL GAZİ MUSEUM

About Ertuğrul Gazi Museum:

Our museums, which provide the preservation of the concrete examples of Turkish culture and anecalities until the present day, are the examples of our historical monuments which constitute the building block of cultural tourism; Ertugrul Gazi Tomb, which is located in between, is not known for the exact date of its construction, but it is known that it was built by the head of the municipality Memis Agha in the early 1900s as a bilin winding house arasında. On the façade of the building, which attracts attention with its wooden workmanship, there are two round arched doors next to each other, a rectangular window perpendicular to the two side walls, and triangular tops on top. The wooden roof is roofed and the roof is covered with alaturya tile.

The old Turkish house architecture was restored and opened in 2001. The museum exhibits the ethnographic works and belongings of the nomadic nomads in the vicinity. The museum also includes sancak, old clothing and harness, hand-woven rugs and carpets, guns, measuring and weighing instruments, pegs and cash pouches, archaeological artifacts (Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman coins, Roman pottery).
