The oak tree in Karacaözü village, 27 kilometers from the city center, is thought to be 500 years old. The shadow area of Koca mese, one of the oldest oak trees in the world, is 256 m2 and its diameter is 12,20 m.It was registered in 2006 and taken under protection.
