Canik Bayraktepe Natural Park
Bayraktepe Nature Park was announced on 15.10.2015 under the National Parks Law No. 2873 under the scope of defense and the Natural Park was announced with the Ministry No. 1416. Nature Park with 132 ha area was given to Samsun Metropolitan Municipality for 5 years on 04.01.2016. In the surrounding and surrounding areas, there is maki vegetation along with the Black Sea nebat cover. The main vegetation in the area is composed of beech, hornbeam and oak. There are grassy vegetation with shrub and shrub groups under tree floor and other places.
Because the city of Samsun is very close to the city center, a lot of customs, customs and commemorations are kept alive in the neighborhoods close to this area. Since the climax of the Nature Park contains the remains of the previous Samsun Castle, the first and the third. degrees have been declared as archaeological site.
