Banaz Akmonia Ancient City - Usak
Banaz district of Uşak is an ancient city built on the high hill to the south of Ahat village. Like many other historical sites in Uşak, this is on the Lydian King's Road. A large amount of mosaic areas were found in the city and there are Roman, Byzantine sermaic fragments, gynnasium area, building foundations, architectural stone-marble fragments, two temple podiums and a theater pit. The artefacts are exhibited in the Uşak Archeology Museum.
