Avdalaz Castle Rock Settlements - Afyonkarahisar
To the east of Ayazini town, there are burial chambers on the lower parts of the rock mass and multi-storey settlements connected to each other on the upper parts. It is a defensive castle rather than a settlement. There is a large cistern in Avdalaz castle to meet its needs. It is understood from the fact that Avdalaz Castle was used as a defense against enemies and it was built on a rock mass dominating the environment. There are Roman and Byzantine tombs around the castle and at the bottom of the rock mass.
