Atatürk and Ethnography Museum - Usak The museum building, which was opened on September 1, 1978, is a structure of the Ottoman period and was the place where Greek Chief Commander Trikopis was captured after the War of Independence. Although Commander-in-Chief Trikopis was a prisoner, he was welcomed by Atatürk with Turkish hospitality. On the ground floor of the two-storey wooden structure, local ethnographic materials, ancient weapons, clothes, jewelry and other works are exhibited. The entire upper floor is arranged as Atatürk Museum. There are mirrors, coffee tables, armchairs, Atatürk's bedroom and clothes belonging to Atatürk. Visiting hours: The museum is open every day of the week, except Monday, from 08.30 to 17.30. Admission is free.
