Asik Veysel Museum - Sivas
The house of the folk poet Âşık Veysel Şatıroğlu, located in Sivrialan Village, was expropriated in 1979 by the Ministry of Culture and opened to visitors in 1982 as a museum. The museum exhibits Âşık Veysel's personal belongings, photographs, poems and published works. In order to keep the memory of Âşık Veysel alive, every year 9-11 July in Sivas and Şarkışla-Sivrialan Village, as well as commemoration ceremonies, the festival is organized under the name of şık Âşık Veysel Lovers' Day ”.
