Aksehir Western Front Headquarters Museum - Konya
Aksehir Western Front Headquarters Museum is the headquarters building which has an important place in the National War of Independence. The building was built in 1904-1905 by the Mayor of the period as Municipality building. On 18 November 1921, it was assigned as the headquarters building to the Western Front Command which moved to Aksehir, and the headquarters served in this building until August 24, 1922. The municipality building, where the preparations and plans of the Great Offensive were made and the decision was made, was transferred to the Ministry in 1964 for a museum. It was renovated and opened to visitors on July 5, 1966 under the name of Atatürk and Ethnography Museum as a document of hope and struggle days. After the restoration and reorganization in 1981, it was renamed the Western Front Headquarters Museum. In 1988-1995 and 2001, restoration and exhibition arrangements were made and it was reopened on 5 July 2001 as it is today.

The lower floor is used as an administrative section of the building, the upper floor of the exhibition hall and the eight rooms opened to the exhibition room. In the middle hall, there are photographs of Atatürk and İsmet İnönü in Aksehir on the wall panel, and medals and certificates of Aksehir veterans in the middle showcase. In the left room at the exit of the stairs, there are firearms and firearms that were thought to have been used during the War of Independence, a panel describing the biography of Aksehir Deputy Hacı Bekir Sümer and a rifle. The room in the symmetry of this room contains the biographies of the officers who worked at the headquarters and the tags of some of the martyrs of the War of Independence in Aksehir. Atatürk's study room, where the Great Offensive was decided, was furnished with his original belongings, and the war plans, documents and photographs were displayed on the wall panels. In the other two rooms, there are photographs of Atatürk's original prints, excerpts from Nutuk, which he wrote in his own handwriting, documents of the headquarters, photographs related to aviation, and special items that Atatürk used after he became President. The room to the west of the room where the offensive decision was taken is the work rooms of Ismet Pasha, the Commander of the Western Front Headquarters, and Asım Gündüz, the Chief of Staff of the Headquarters.
