A pyramidal monument was erected in 1924 in memory of those killed in the 13th and 20th Regiment on 28 August 1922 during the War of Independence. It was built in a stepped structure. It is located in Anıtkaya town of Afyon. The martyrdom, including the 13th Regiment Commander Major Galip, contains 12 officers who were martyred during the war and the tombs where 6 Er lay. A memorial ceremony is held on August 28th every year in this mausoleum in Afyon. You cannot attend this ceremony. You may pass hours that will make sense for you.
