It is not clear when he came to Urfa. He died in Urfa in 1897 (Hijri 1315) when he was 91 years old. His grave is in the tomb next to the Halveti monastery, which he had repaired in the Independence Square. Since the people in the Arabs were called by the names of their eldest sons, this inscription was called "Abu Muhammad Muhyiddin" which means the father of Muhammad Muhyiddin. In other words, both his father's name and his eldest son's name were Muhammad Muhyiddin.
